Founded in February 1988 by Dr. SM Kumar, our hospital has been a cornerstone of quality healthcare in Thuckalay, Tamil Nadu for over three decades. Founded in February 1988 by Dr. SM Kumar, Kumar Hospital has been a trusted healthcare provider in Thuckalay, Tamil Nadu for over 35 years. With a strong commitment to compassionate care and medical excellence, the hospital quickly became known for its expertise in general surgery, urology, pediatrics, and gynecology.
As the community grew, so did our vision. On March 15, 2021, the hospital was completely renovated into a modern, state-of-the-art facility—right at our original location in Manali Junction, Thuckalay. This transformation brought in advanced infrastructure, upgraded technology, and an enhanced patient experience, all while preserving the trust we’ve built over decades.
Today, under the leadership of Dr. SM Kumar, who brings over 35 years of experience, and a team of five dedicated doctors, Kumar Hospital continues to serve as one of the most respected and reliable medical centers in the region.
